Can I join Measured if I have health issues?

Studies have shown that many underlying health issues can be improved with weight loss, so we hope you will make Measured’s personalized and holistic approach a part of your journey.

However, please keep in mind that based on the guidance of our medical experts, patients with the following are not eligible for the Measured Medical Plan: 

• pregnant or actively attempting to conceive
• breastfeeding
• active anorexia or bulimia nervosa
• active cancer and undergoing treatment
• active heart disease
• under 21 or over 65 years old

• Kidney disease (GFR <60) or have had kidney transplant
• A History of liver disease or a liver transplant (fatty liver not an exclusion)
• Use steroid medication (example: prednisone) daily 
• Use insulin daily
• Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus (Hg A1c >7.0%)
• A history of heart attack, stroke, or any other heart conditions which limit daily activities within the last six months
• Have had bariatric surgery or gastric sleeve
