Will my insurance cover the full cost of the medication?

We will assess your insurance eligibility on an individual basis. If you are prescribed brand-name medications such as Wegovy or Ozempic we will contact your insurance company to obtain a prior authorization.

If the prior authorization is approved, your insurance may cover the entire cost, or a portion of the cost, due to plan deductibles. Many patients pay as little as $25-50 / month with insurance coverage.

If your insurance will not cover weight-loss medication, or you do not have insurance, our recommendation would be compounded semaglutide. These medications have the same active ingredient as the name-brand counterparts, but cost 4-5 times less than paying out of pocket.
