What happens if my insurance denies the prior authorization for my medication?

If you choose a name-brand GLP-1 Medication as your preference, we will proactively call your insurance company to understand your coverage. This is prior to your provider writing a prescription, and we do this in order to better understand your coverage. Typically we see that about 25-35% of patients have some type of coverage. Our insurance specialists work Monday-Friday, which mirrors the hours/days of most insurance companies.

If your prior authorization is denied, we will recommend a new treatment plan for you.

Regardless of the decision, our team will communicate the results with you via chat and/or phone.
